Maybe it's because the location managers are the ones who spend all day dealing with the business owners and homeowners and are used to trying to make people happy, and are most used to dealing with "non-industry" people, but they always seem to be the nicest people on the set, the most willing to talk to me and help me out. I've been lucky not to come across any of the assholes - yet.
