Filming In Brooklyn

Gossip Girl was filming today at Packer, a private school in Brooklyn Heights, and they really couldn’t have picked a more obstructed site: a courtyard behind multiple fences and lots of shrubbery. As if all of that weren’t enough, when the paparrazzi got too aggressive and annoying, the crew set up additional screens to block everyone’s sight.

Here are some set pieces being spray painted black.

I was not able to get any good pictures of the shoot. This was one of the crew setting up for a shot:

Exciting stuff, huh? So thank goodness a couple of the shows fans, Sonia and Lindsay, who had come all the way from Long Island to watch the shoot, sent Filming In Brooklyn some of the fantastic pictures they managed to get. They also got to meet several of the actors, and it makes me feel good about the Gossip Girl cast to hear that they gave their fans a few minutes of their time.

Since I don’t watch the show, an extra thank you to Lindsay and Sonia for labeling the pictures so well.
