Filming In Brooklyn

Best View in Brooklyn, which covers Sunset Park (and which I found by way of Curbed), reports that Supernanny, the ABC show that has nanny Jo Frost help parents learn to control their kids’ behaviors (and sometimes the other way around) is looking specifically for NYC families for their next season. You’ve got until September 8th decide if you want to try to get your brats on TV, and show the world that you have zero parenting skills whatsoever.

I make no claim to being the best parent in the world (in fact, I’m ignoring my kids right now to write this), but whenever I watch Supernanny I just want to scream at how long those parents have let their kids rule the house and get away with crap that I wouldn’t put up with for ten minutes. Ninety percent of their problems could have been solved if they had just read and implemented one parenting book. But thank God they haven’t, because then I wouldn’t get the pleasure of watching them on Supernanny and feeling superior!
