Filming In Brooklyn missed seeing the HBO series Flight of the Conchords filming on Vanderbilt in Fort Greene today (it was an indoor shoot), but we did get to chat briefly with Kristen Schaal as the crew was packing up to leave. Even if you don’t watch Conchords you may recognize the hilarious Kristen from The Daily Show.
Kristen told us that about half of Conchords films in Brooklyn, and that she really likes filming here. I asked her if anyone seems annoyed at the trucks and disruption, and she reported that she hasn’t seen a single annoyed face yet.
Look for Flight of the Conchords on HBO. Thanks for taking the time Kristen, and we’ll see you around Brooklyn!

My husband and I love flight of the conchords!! A month or so ago while at our favorite sushi restaurant (here in the Virgin Islands) the owner put on “Business Time” and my husband started singing it during the intro before any words had started!! We were the only ones who new what song it was and she (the owner) was so excited that we didn’t have to pay for most of our meal.
This show is hilarioius….two of my favorites..the epidode where the one guy keeps mistaking them for australians whom he hates but when he finds out they are from new zeland he loves them!! and of course the lord of the rings video puts me on the floor laughing my ass off!!
