Filming In Brooklyn

Thanks to everyone who entered the contest to win 2 tickets to a red carpet Fringe screening.  The winner was one of our biggest fans, Tracy!

Most of you are probably familiar with Tracy, as she starred in a post over the summer about getting to meet the cast of Rescue Me.  So winning this contest makes her officially the luckiest person so far in the short history of this blog!  And boy, is she excited: when I emailed her to let her know that she had won, the first line of her response was (and I’m quoting here): “aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh  OMG AMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  You don’t have any idea how excited I am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Thank you!!!!”

I loved reading the comments, they were great.  It’s good to know that I’m not the only one who, when asked to name one favorite show, can’t narrow it down to less than ten!  And if this contest had been subjective (instead of random), Jodi would have won hands down, since her all-time favorite show is West Wing.  WW is on a constant loop in our house (the first five seasons, anyway).  Go ahead, ask me a WW question from those first five.  Try and stump FIB.

And Hayley gets an honorable mention for listing Little House on the Prairie.  So many memories growing up.  But it’s also merged in my head with one of Natalie’s faves, Family Guy, which is just a fantastically funny show.  I can’t get the image out of my head of the Little House closing credits music playing over Quagmire making airplane arms through a field.
