Fringe is filming Thursday in Ditmas Park, in the vicinity of Ditmas Ave and E. 17th St. According to our tipster, Sean, this immediate area was also used for: I Think I Love My Wife (Chris Rock), Bullet (Mickey Rourke, Tupac), The Good Shepherd (Angelina Jolie, Matt Damon), The Wackness, Canterberry’s Law, and many others. Thanks Sean!
Incidentally, I’ve been so busy over the past few days that the premier of Fringe slipped under my radar completely. Thank goodness for DVRs. I’m about halfway through the episode and so far, I’m thinking X-Files meets…X-Files. And I liked the X-Files. Anyone else catch the episode?
UPDATE: I received another anonymous tip that Fringe is also filming today at PPS and Parkside Ave, near the tennis courts. I also have a more exact location for the first Fringe location: 515 East 16th Street.
Also, On Location Vacations has posted a location in Greenpoint for 30 Rock.

I loved it. I just watched it again last night to catch any details I missed. Very spooky, freaky, cool. I never watched X-Files, but that’s what everyone’s comparing it to. I also think it’s like Lost, w/ unexplained things, items planted that will be brought up later.
It had my attention the whole time, & had some really funny lines too. I give it a thumbs up.

Some of the best lines: ‘Yeah, because after 6 hours they’re really dead.’
‘Is that a cow?’ ‘Yes, that’s Jean’
I know there are others, but I can’t think of them right now.

That’s funny. That’s my Mom’s neighborhood. I’ll have to tell her to keep an eye out.
And I’ve got the “Fringe” premiere on my DVR as well. I hope to get to it this weekend.
