The much-anticipated movie about rap artist Christopher “Biggie” Wallace, Notorious, arrives in theaters today after having its premier last week in Manhattan. Notorious spent some time in Brooklyn last spring filming in Clinton Hill, and then again in November for re-shoots, on and around the blocks where Christopher Wallace grew up.
The Notorious shoot was the first location I stumbled upon with a camera when I was tossing around the idea of starting this website, and is the first feature film I’ve covered that’s opening in theaters, so it feels like my little site has come full circle.
