In a case of what may be premature evacuation, Fringe has decided to move to Vancouver after the current season wraps in April.
According to Crain’s New York, members of the crew were informed today. “We’re all fighting for our livelihood and nobody understands the rational,” said Beth Kushnick, set decorator on the show. “Why is there collateral damage when they don’t even have the word about the tax credit?”
You can read the entire Crain’s article here. And if you haven’t signed the petition to restore the tax incentive, please do. Thousands of local jobs depend on it.

So will each episode begin with location subtitles to let us know where the scene is taking place? Imagine the following subtitles:
West Point Grey, Vancouver
Cascade Heights, Vancouver
West End, Vancouver
I just say this because up to now they have let us know if the scene was in Boston, Brooklyn, etc.

Well, they were filming most of the Boston scenes in Brooklyn anyway.
