According to On Location Vacations, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, with Nic Cage, is filming today at Floyd Bennett Field. And thanks to one of my frequent tipsters, Doug, I have some pictures of the set being built.
Doug reports that for the past few weeks a crew has been building an elaborate subway station set. The set is now completely hidden by trailers and fences, but Doug got these pictures earlier in the month:

He reports that while the movie filmed some scenes in the real Marcy Avenue J subway station, this set was built to film stunts that couldn’t be done in the actual station. The set is about two train cars in length.
Thanks Doug!
