“Boardwalk Empire” horses around in Brooklyn

Please forgive the title of this post. I couldn’t resist.

Horses were on hand, though, when the Boardwalk Empire production turned a warehouse in Sunset Park into an old stable. The HBO/Martin Scorsese production, about the rise of Atlantic City, has been filming in Brooklyn quite a bit. This first picture was sent in by our Boardwalk Empire tipster, Jillian:

Our Boardwalk Empire tipster Jillian has spotted signs for today in two locations: in the vicinity of Driggs and Lorimer, near the eastern part of McCarren Park, and also at 53rd Street and Second Ave. That second location is the same one they used for a horse stable last week. Thanks Jillian!

According to On Location Vacations, Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell‘s new movie The Other Guys is filming in the vicinity of 25th Street and 5th Ave, near Greenwood Cemetery.
