So a funny thing happened after I said that I wasn’t going to post anymore: traffic kept coming. I didn’t expect that. I’ve always gotten a lot of my traffic from google, readers looking for pictures of a certain celebrity. But after I stopped posting, people stopping by looking for a new post stuck around exploring old ones. I stopped posting because I was sure that it had to be an almost daily thing in order to keep traffic up and make it worthwhile, but I was wrong.
Then this morning, a bunch of pictures landed in my inbox. So, I will post pictures and interesting tidbits when I get them. I have no idea what the frequency will be. But if you get pictures of a shoot please send them in, and I’ll post them, since there’s still definitely an audience.
Thanks to all of you for your support!

Hello all, I’m sorry to say that I won’t be posting to Filming In Brooklyn anymore. I don’t have time any longer to do it well. When I first started this site I was able to go to shoots, get pictures, interview actors and directors and have a lot of fun with it. But since then I’ve had a lot of success with SelfishMom.com, and this site has mostly become just a list of what’s filming. It’s time for me to move on and focus on other things.
When I come across productions and take pictures, I’ll still post them, but on SelfishMom.com (and if you follow FilmingBrooklyn on twitter I’ll tweet those posts). If you get pictures of something filming and want to send them to me I’m happy to post those on Selfish Mom as well. But if you have tips about something filming, I suggest you send them to Christine at OnLocationVacations.com – I get a lot of my info from her anyway.
Thanks so much to all of you who have read and commented, sent in tips and pictures, and spread the word about Filming In Brooklyn. I wish I could keep it going. If, by any chance, any of you would like to take the site over, please email me at Amy@FilmingInBrooklyn.com and we can talk.
Amy
